Default Edge "Drag" Comp questions

Hey guys, im just wondering what exactly the "drag" comp box does that makes it better than the normal comp box. I know it raises the defuel point to 3200 from 20 something 00 RPM. However, if that doesnt add any extra HP or TQ is the 50 ot 120 dollar upgrade really worth all that money? Does it actually make any difference that one can feel or see as far as performance or smoke or anything? Im just trying to justify a reason to send my comp box in and have the drag unlocked, but if no one can tell me that these is actually a difference in how the box reacts with this drag feature unlocked then i find it pointless to send it in and spend the money to unlock it as well as pay the shipping costs.

So tell me guys.....what exactly does the drag comp do to differ from the normal comp

maybe not harder but longer?? they will defuel at 2700 but they will keep going but not hard...so if your cut off point is 3200 its gonna pull full fuel for those extra 500RPM's

hmmmmmm.....not sure if thatd be worth the 50 or 125 bucks or not. Maybe some people who have gotten the reflash done can chime in with real world results of what they thought

I have only ever had a dragcomp but I been told it pulls noticably harder in all levels and that the 5x5 is much better on the track and all but for peak RWHP on the dyno 5x4 is best.

Don't have the comp but I have the juice with attitude and did the hot unlock and I can tell you that level 6 makes a huge difference. It's worth the money. I think it adds more timing too because I think my truck had a superchip stuck in the computer and when I got level 6 it wouldn't work reflashed the computer and the truck came alive in 6
