Default Autometer EGT help

okay I'm in class and have internet, so I'll ask.

I hooked up my autometer EGT gauge last night. I double checked all my wiring, but when I turn on the ignition, the gauge pegs CCW. This thing has been sitting around for awhile. would this be a bad module?

Could be but are you sure the wiring is correct? Sometimes the plugs on the gauge will push out and cause it. Where are you grounding to?

Make sure you ground to a good bare ground. If you are grounding where there is paint - scratch it off so you get good metal to metal contact with the ground lug.
