Autometer EGT help
okay I'm in class and have internet, so I'll ask.
I hooked up my autometer EGT gauge last night. I double checked all my wiring, but when I turn on the ignition, the gauge pegs CCW. This thing has been sitting around for awhile. would this be a bad module?

Make sure you ground to a good bare ground. If you are grounding where there is paint - scratch it off so you get good metal to metal contact with the ground lug.

just turn your gauge upside down... problem solved; now that luke and mysterync are going to slap me for not saying anything constructive at all
grounds do funny things in electrical systems so as everyone one else has said check all your connections and go over your wiring again. and thanks for your services luke and mysternc; the site wouldnt be same w/o you guys and the rest of the sponsors
