02 dodge 24v cummins, 6 spd trans 3.55 rear end. 4" exhaust with magnaflow muffler. under a heavy pull, temp gauge rises to max operating range. used to hear fan lock up, but don't any more. truck has factory switzer fan hub on it. has anyone done anything with an electric fan clutch on this model? i started doing some research on this. 03 dodge used a electric fan clutch. will it fit my aplication? also horton has a ec450 fan hub that their web site says fits dodge and freightliner. the problem is this hub is $600. any information on this would be appreciated.
