i think bullydog makes like a 50hp box for em, i think, i know they did whether or not they still do i don't know, but 50 extra horse would be nice out of the little motor

dont get the bully dog get a rocketchip, kerma or aligator tune. they are the best on the tdi market. but after how much power they put out you may have to get a new clutch. i know more about rocketchip and they make tunes in stages so a stock tune i would reccomond a rc1 or rc2 tune. im probably going to get a rc2 for my passat one of these days

stay away from bullydog because they write bad tunes. same reason that if i had a duramax i would only get ppe and efi live. if i had a cummins why i would only get smarty or edge. try to get tdi experinced tuners. not sure about the clutch but anything above a rc3 tune or any tune close to that is probably going to cause it to slip. once you start adding injectors and turbos you need a heavy duty clutch. i know the bugs have traction issues so go out and invest in a set of nice performance tires to get some grip.

nope they are all tdi tuning companys. kerma is a huge tdi company that sells more than just tunes. the owner of kerma actually has a 250 hp tdi bug as his daily driver. but getting back to the tuning company they are small but they have awesome customer service that big companys just cant compare to. that part you were looking at is what you would use to plug up the hole after you get rid of your egr and egr cooler. which is a popular mod if you want to get more power or fuel econmy. kinda similar to what the duramaxs guys refer to as a "fingerstick". which is what they do after they delete their egr
