Default TC lockup switch

ok so i installed a lockup switch on my 02 dodge. everything went perfect. works great. locks in when its supposed to and locks out like its supposed to. but the only thing is im throwing codes now.. the codes im getting is 0622 generator field control circuit, 0743 torque converter clutch circuit, 1765 transmission 12 volt supply relay control circuit, and 1693 companion code. so my question is will the truck start having these codes now that the switch is installed or did i screw something up???

Nope. The codes are "normal" They will have no effect on power output, but when you force voltage when the PCM is not giving the orders, you get codes.

I know some guys have used diodes and resistors to stop the codes, but they will have no ill effects on your ride and will clear after a few starts.

Be careful using that TC Lockup Switch on a stock transmission. It can be easy to break a shaft if you lock the TC during shifts.

I have a DTT trans with a exhaust brake and I get the same codes when I use the exhaust brake that also will lock up the torque converter. Bothersome but not sure if there is a way out of the problem. I have gotten use to it and after a few start ups the codes seem to clear themself. ED I thought it was a california truck thing.
