yea but that leaves 2 small voids that i have seen crack and then you have to get a new elbow. if you grind off than it is less likely to blow out, seen to many break with them out

man its a great turbo. i dont have stick in yet and that should wake the bottom end up. i also have not installed my air dog yet.

so here are a few notes/tips for those who care:

-jacking the truck up taking, tire, battery and wheel liner out is a must.
-pb blaster is worth at least $100 per bottle
-knee pads are a must when you are on top of the motor
-take turbo off with manifold
-the bolt that holds the water heater bracket is a real sob
-which bring up the point off a good sawall. three things got the sawzall 1.heater hose bracket 2. lifting lug 3. exhaust bracket that attatches to the tranny
-leave the elbow off when installing turbo
-dont clock the turbo if its from htt b/c its probably right on.

i still need help does anyone know if i can clock this turbo while still on the truck???

oh yea it sounds like an f-16 is following me around
