Default Buyer Beware, Laguna Speed are CROOKS

All I have to say is beware, Laguna Speed tried to screw me over...and this aint their first time. Take a look at there BBB record, Laguna Speed Shop, Inc. - Automobile Parts and Supplies Retail - San Juan Capistrano, CA | BBB Business Report

50 active complaints in the last 3 months for not making full refunds and for not shipping the entire order.

My deal was I ordered my Grand Rock Stacks (which are kick *** by the way) and I went almost 3 months of being told they were on back order and given some bogus number everytime I called. Like your number 16, number 10 ect on the "back order list"

So I got fed up and called Grand Rock directley and they said they are not on back order and they do not show any orders placed or pending by Laguna Speed.

So when I called them back to call them out, I got the run around. So I requested a refund, and to this day almost 2 months later I have not recieved my $1300 back. (Stacks/Sensors)

So beware, like a new diesel guy I was lured in by their nice two page ads in all the diesel mags, and their nice website, and even salesmen Justin.

Im not a basher by nature, but I really hate dishonesty when it comes to business!
Please pass this on!

And I would like to say thanks to Parleys Diesel Performance for comming through with my Smarty and Stacks, right on time as they said! Excellent service!

Mike

I hope you get your money back. I would call them back and tell them if they don't give you your money back, you are going to post on every diesel forum on the internet and tell everyone what they did and how they do business. If we all come together, I'll bet we can light a fire under the 'ol dancin Chicken...

It's no fun having to deal with shady businesses like that. Hopefully you'll get your money back in a timely fashion. Dealings like that just reinforce the fact that buying through our vendors/sponsors on the board is going to get you not only a better deal, but much better customer service should a problem arise.
Every mod I have on my truck has come from our vendors here. If they can't find what I want, I probably don't need it anyway.
Good luck.

Ya suprisingly my bank refunded my money on the spot since I claimed fraud against Laguna Speed, its called a Regulation E claim, for fradulent transaction, I had my money in 2 days, then had to fill out a form and return it with in 10 days, so just an FYI for you guys incase you ever end up in my spot, and that was through US Bank.

So I am happy and on the road with my stacks and smarty!!

And thanks to those vendors on here who have sent me a PM inviting me to check out thier sites, with thier names and numbers, I appreciate it!

Thnx
Mike
