I have just bought my first diesel alittle over a year ago. I love it, but I know nothing about diesel motors and all that is involved. my question is when i am getting onto the interstate or just puttin it to the floor, i lose all my power untill i let off of the peddel, i would guess that would have to do with the tubro, but like I said im not sure an dont want to take it to another guy who might be blowin smoke up my ***. just thought that i might try an get any infromation that i could before i took it anywhere. thanks

 

If its your turbo you wouldn't have any power at all. im guessing that your fuel pump is losing pressure so that would be the first thing i get checked out.

 

look at your air cleaner too
