I thought i was having a tuner problem. Wrong, I discovered it seems like a vapor lock when i gas it. It will idle and run at low rpms just fine. But get to 2000 rpms and it just feels like it runs out of fuel. The solution is loosen the secondary fuel filter on the motor and I get a hissing noise of air escaping from the filter housing. Then it will fire just fine and run till you press on the gas. Oh and it rev out to 3000 in nuetrel and park, but try that in gear and it will die. Any ideals????

Change your fuel filters, both of them.

 

I changed the filters about 500 miles ago. I have even dropped the tank to check it out and make sure there was not anything large trying to get sucked up.

 

is there any way for you to tell what your hpo psi is?
