just get the 4k... it will shift before redline... but if you drive normal there is no difference... thats why i love it.. when you floor it the difference is amazing.. go with the 4... i know it isnt good for a stock tranny but i know that a 3k isnt either

i would suggest valve springs, you float them once and kiss your engine good bye......

Adding more fuel as in bigger injectors, different fuel plate, your foot controlling the throttle with the 2 previous items installed and using stock charger will determine how hot it gets.

Go back to this post that you started.https://www.dieselbombers.com/5-9l-1...springkit.html

You will see most guys suggested to you to install 60lb valve springs if you want to install the 4k gov springs. If you want to install the 4k springs with out the insurance of the 60 lb valve springs then you are the one who will have to pay close attention to the tach. Just like with adding more fuel you can add injectors different plate but you are the one that has to pay close attention to egt's and to know to let off the skinny pedal.

Good luck on your decision.

Thats what I did. Install the 3k and when I replace the valve springs I will then Install the smallest spring to complete the 4k setup.

IMO you have made a wise choice.

Good luck.

Dynomite Diesel 3K kit includes both the 3K springs and 4k Springs.
