thats the beauty of EFI live is that its custom programming. If you get it through a shop, there's a couple on here but i don't recall what they are, they can make you a tune for your mods.
It is that cool. It takes more time than just a quad or ppe, but it can be modified for your truck and mods. Easiest way would be to buy it through a shop that will include a tune, but you can do it from scratch, and you can tweak it either way.

Its that cool, to get crazy you will need some supporting mods, gages, lift pump and the big one a tranny. You can do milder tunes with it. Some guys sell a tow tune and some sell a race tune with it when you buy it.

No they don't want won't anytime soon if we do ever get it it will be via the V2 not a switch.
I love EFI and agree with what others have said but a lot of guy put down good #s with PPE too. IMO if you add any power or even stock trucks with the 6 speed for that matter should add a Transgo Jr shift kit.

And thats the reason I still run PPE, last I was told V2 was not yet available for the lbz, lmm.

The V2 has always been available the V1 don't work for for the LBZ+ maybe the LLYs too. We just don't have switchable tuning and other features that ain't out for any of the trucks yet.

The V2 has always been available for all duramax trucks since it was released. However switchable tuning will most likely never be available for the LBZ and LMM they both have Bosch computers which is a different animal compared to the LB7 and LLY.

The LB7 also has the roadrunner feature since it has an LS1 ECM the LS1 roadrunner system can be used. It allows tuning on the fly. Like if I wanted to add 10% of pulsewidth, the second i push enter on the keyboard it instantly sends the information to the truck as its driving down the road.

EFI Live Is the best tool made, and by far my best mod yet. But I say that now after having it for a few years and learning it. When I first got it I was 16 and didnt know anything. Over time i learned a lot. Now Ive tuned 12 different trucks in the area and to me its actually very fun. Especially seeing peoples reactions.

Yes really. Its a nice feature. Everybody who has EFI Live has probably seen it in their EFI Live program a time or two.
