i know if youre runnin enough horse slicks are best but what about a truck runnin under 500 horse, what tires are best?

Good question. But if I had to guess, load range E tires and speed range C or D.

I like a softer tire so it wrinkles up like a slick off the line to give a wider foot print well that has worked for me but ive been known to do backwards stuff before it works for me though good luck

i would say if your dead set on drag racing and dont do any off roading, just get some good direction tires with the highest speed rating you can find for the trucks...i think toyo proxies are decent

even if they are a mud tire just lock in hi 4 under 500hp wouldent see them spinning to bad just drive around the water box

IMO Toyo Proxies are hard to beat on the track and last well daily driving. Just need to use caution in the rain.
