Yes mine went away after about 500 miles. It worried me the first time I smelled it.

The noise after you shut it off is normal as well.

 

good then it had 12 now 148 i got it a 9pm and sujnday night it will have around 2k finaly gettin to go back home

 

Do you guys get the Cummins chirp also?

Congrats, how do you like the Ally and have ya done any towing with it?

Some have a chirp during shutdown if thats what ya mean, but most Dmax's tick like a typewriter. Mostly after oil changes, because of air bubbles in the oil gallerys.
