New exhaust
Well I got my new Expandit Exhaust, Thanks Diesel Dawg, for my 96 club cab long bed. From what I understand this exhaust is designed for the cc long bed and if you have a reg bed or cc short bed then you have to cut the extensions. Might concern is where the pipe goes over the axle here is a pic.

Does this look right or do I need to cut some pipe off on one of the extension or off the piece going over the axle or do I leave it alone. I am also using the down pipe that came with the new turbo which looks to be the same legnth as the down pipe that came with the kit.
Thanks

So you guys think that the first bend coming over the axle from the muffler outlet is not to close?

I talked to Doug at Expandit and he told me that the exhaust is built to the longest wheel base i. e. Club Cab long bed for 94-02, that I did not have to trim or cut anything. So if anyone questions distance on their install here is your answer.
Here is an adder. I removed the HX40 style down pipe that came with my turbo and use the one the came with the Expandit kit. The down pipes were bent a little different and the Expandit DP is a little shorter.
Once I put the Expandit DP was installed the fit was just as it was designed. I could have the other DP but decided to put the Expandit in. Hope this helps someone else in the future.
Hope everyone is having fun at TS

This is one reason why we really don't like saleing the kits without a DP. Seems like everyone does something a little different.
Luke
I could have cut some length off of one of the extension pipes. I figured approx 4.5" to 5" and this would have put the bend over the axle properly. Luke you will have an example to share with your customers.
Hey I am glad to hear that you guys are having a good time. I seen on the weather at about 3:15 to 3:30 ,our time, that tornado's were in the Bowling Green, Kentucky area.
Have Fun!
