Default EGR problem

My friend put his egr plates on tonight and he started driveing it and it makes a loud screaming sound im thinking its but plates on the intake arnt sealed becaues it only does it when its at full boost and it also bucks some....he has no programmer should he leave the harnesses pluged in or unpluged any info would be great thank you

Did your friend remove the plate in the butterfly valve. It almost sounds like the butterfly is closing and the engine can get air. I noticed that these 6.7s use the EGR to warm up. If your friend has it blocked off and the butterfly closes that's bad.

problem solved i stopped by today to take a look and he forgot to put the gaskets on
now everything runs good
