12 Valve into a 1999-2003 F350 ?
I have been thinking( not real seriously at this point) about putting a 12valve into a 1999-2003 f350. If I did this and they start doing diesel emision testing what they go by Vin number or what. Would this be a problem, with making it all legal?

sounds like interesting project.
here in ohio when i did my conversion i called everybody that i could get on phone and got to EPA and they told me that i could install any engine i wanted in my car as long as it meets emissions for the year that car is titled. in my case they never build 87 jeep diesels in states and had no emission standards for that car but it falls into diesel category for year of 87.i didnt have to make any changes on title or registration and i called everybody i could think of.i hope this answers your ?. good luck
