A tuned wastegate is better than a plugged wastegate....And "turning up the pump"...theres not just one magical bolt you turn to make another 500hp....You must TUNE your pump so all your mods work together, Your plate profile, Goverened speed, AFC mods, rack travel. You must also tune to work with your turbo, injectors, timing, valve springs etc... To get the most HP you can out of your engine everything must work the best they can with everything else...
