Default installing turbo

i just ordered a cheetah turbo and i was woundering anyone had any tips for installing the turbo?

I have not worked on a LLY but at least you won't have to work around the EGR. Up-Pipe/pedistal bolts can be a pain. Have a good assortment of 12pt sockets. A Topside creeper helps. Replace the factory downpipe while you have it apart. If either of you are planning to have the trans worked on anytime soon I would strongly suggest that you tackle the turbo swap while the trans out (you can get to everything so much easier).
I have not seen the Cheetah turbos but they should be a straight forward swap and I assume that they come with any necessary plumbing/hardware/gaskets. Are you both going to run EFILive?

i am running live and i have already got my tranny built so that kinda knocks that choice out of the way and i dont have a top side kreeaper wish i did after i figured out what it was but dont have one.

It can still be done. Pull the inner fenderwells, got some swivels, and some Mechanics Wear forearm sleeves.

do you know about how long it will take for a first timer. i have changed them out on a tractor and dodge but never a duramax

I've installed 3 different cheetahs on my truck, takes about 4-5 hours with 2 people

I havent heard, supposed to be pretty soon, but Brayden stays pretty busy, I'd guess mid summer probably.
