Anybody out there mess with the pcs tanny controller? I did a 12v swap into my 04 superduty and I need to soften up the converter lockup. Any help would be great! Keep the coals rollin!!!!

There is a few guys in every town that reprogram an auto's computer chip.
I would bet that is the place to go.

 

Jason at ford cummins can get you dialed in.I think they charge 250 for programmig.Its sounds like you need to slow up the lockup rate.What gear are you locking up in?I lock mine in third,i also had to adjust my afc to lighten up the smoke.But in all actuallity mine didnt shift right till i changed my converter.i went with pci's converter lower stall so you dont get that dumping the clutch feeling
