47RE in d-max
i have to ask WHY?!?!?! if it'll tear up behind a stock 180hp Cummins what makes you think it will last behind a Duramax? and what is wrong with the Allison? if you don't like it send it to me.... i'll put it behind my Cummins.....
B. Because of the nature of the beast the ally will never shift like I want it to shift, never.
I was thinking about the 47RH, but the output shafts are way weak on them because there is basically a hole drilled in them. But with an RH I would need NO electronics to go to it.
Look up Suncoast they have the 48RE that will work with the Duramax thats all Buck Runs after going through 40 Allisons.
Another one thats stronger you might want to look into is the older 747 They can be beefed up like crazy no electronics.
Anyone can make adapter plates.
