Default Need help with boost guages

I want to put in a boost guage in my 07 LBZ. What needs to be done to put it in?

Drill and tap a hole in the intake run tube, wire the light in the gauge to the dimer switch. in short

you can remove the intake run tube and drill and tap it. wiring the power for the light to the dimmer power source wont hurt it

heres a pic i stole from KC i circles the intake tube that has the boost tap on it, you can see it its the little brass booger on there

Yep.. thats my pic Danny stole.. I can get you a better one if you need bud. Just disconect the IC boot from the bottom so all your shavings fall right out onto the ground..

I stuffed a rag in mine too. The shavings don't fall out that well if you use tapping oil.

In addition to these steps, you could also use a battery operated vacuum to collect other shavings. JMO.

Probably not.. I didnt think about using oil since it was by hand.. and its Cast..

But shoving a rag in it would work as well
