Default 1995 chevy c 3500 6.5 turbo stalling and hard starting...

ok.......i have a 1995 c 3500 6.5 turbo diesel......it has 108,000 miles and it has hard starting it wants to start but it wont....and when it does start you will get about a mile or two out and it will just shut off and most of the time it will fire right back up but here recently it takes an hr or two before it will fire back up......but it only shut off going down the road with our 28 ft racing traler connected.....other wise w/o the trailer it stumbles at the shift point and you have to let off before it will change gears.......

saturday i replaced PMD,engine computer, and ops and fuel filter.........and now it wont fstart at all it wants to ohh and sometimes it overheats w/o the traler.....

ive read that could also be the fuel shutoff solenoid idk but that thing is 273.00 at the dealer....dont know where else sells them and i want to be sure before i buy another exspensive part......

anu info will be appreciated
