V8 = higher RPM's less longivity

bla bla bla....yeah i know but who keeps there truck more than 200k miles before trading up for a newer one anyway?

you do bring up a good point and I have seen it 98% of the time on diesel boards....who runs em to the extent of their life anyway.

not saying the V-8 would be a bad thing I am just partial to the ol dependable I-6

I read in diesel power a while back that the 1500 will get a V8 diesel and the durango will get a V6 diesel.
