Default Down pipe

Can I put the down pipe from an 06 dodge on my 97? If so what do I need to do the swap, or will it just go in the place of the stock elbo? Trying to build a 4" on a tight buget.

No. The turbo mounts differently on the CR engines and is down lower closer to the engine block.. The down pipe would probably be too short.

I Have a 3.5" DP for an HX35 if you want. It came with my 4" AFE exhaust system.

you wont have a tru 4inch down pipe untill you get rid of the stock elbow. If you just attach the downpipe to the stock elbow all you get is a 2 into 4 inch down pipe
