I have a slightly damaged 60 mm wheel for my hybrid. It just has a couple small nicks in it. Which would be better for a short while. the stock 56 mm wheel or the slightly nicked 60mm wheel? this is in a twins set-up.

 

Any takers?

well this turbo went for a week with that wheel on it before the new wheel arrived, not the best idea but when your daily driver looses a transmission you got to get to work somehow

 

Mine wasnt nearly that bad.. I bought a 64/71-14.. Runnin single now.. I like it. It hits dang hard! Just need a few more PSI..

I dont know how mine got nicked up unless there was some weld dingle ***** in the cold pipe after I built it. not sure..

 

I wouldn't run this turbo under any circumstances as long as this wheel is changed and new balanced.
The turbo spins up to 150.000 rpm. It will damage your bearing and the complete alignment.
If you have it already replaced, let someone check the balance.
A complete turbo replacement is way more expensive.
