Default Fuel Pick-Up Question

Any benifits to running a Draw-Straw type pick-up to putting a bung in the bottom of the tank? Other then possible leaks (they can be sealed) and snagging it on something (no Off-Roading)

I been usin the bottom of the tank pickup for years now even off road with no problems but theres a few things you have to do to make it work right. I'll post some pics and do a quick write up on it tonight.
