Default First deer of the year...PETA members, look away.
Got him with wifey's Horton crossbow and a 100gr SpitFire broad-head. For size reference, I'm 5'-11", 215lbs. Don't know how much he weighs, but it was a bear getting him in the truck!

Thanks all. Gonna strip him of his 'jammies and de-bone him Thursday morning. Buddy at work is supposed to bring in a hanging scale tonight. He said it was ancient when they brought it over on the Mayflower, so he's not sure how accurate it is.

Found a better scale at a local check-in station. 229 lbs dressed. His neck measured 28" around.
