Default Sub And Amp En Route Part 3

Part One here https://www.dieselbombers.com/audio-...head-unit.html
Part Two here https://www.dieselbombers.com/audio-...ids-highs.html

So I pretty much got this all at a steal of a price through work (circuit city), but here goes

12 inch Kicker L7 in a ported box.
750 watt rms
1500 watt peak
2 ohm voice coils

With a Kicker ZX1000.1 amp pushing it

1000 watts at 2 ohms
I can't wait.
$441 dollars for it all directly through kicker...don't ya love working at an electronics store?

Haha thats gonna be a sweet setup, Ive got all kicker ss components in my truck with a polk audio SR 12" on the back seat. Its the loudest stereo in town and I probably have the least money in it of the guys out there, I get cost minus 10 at a few places for being a prefered customer
The only rattle I have other then the cars around me in traffic vibrating is on the back right corner of my cab, these trucks are rediculously insulated against sound.

MY own setup is 2 12" MTX 5500's with 2 Rockford P3001 amps pushing it. The thing is pretty loud let me tell ya! I need to get some bigger amps because the rockfords are 300 watts at 2 ohms and the speakers are 4. But I've got less than $400 in the setup.
So far I haven't rattled anything loose with it yet! It's also amazing how much less you need when your installing them in the cab as opposed to like the truck of a car. I agree with Fury. Rattling isn't too bad and most of the sounds stays in the cab. But the tow mirrors sure like to shake.
Course you are pushing juuuust a little bit more juice than I am.
