what year in the 90's did Ford change body styles

 

1999 i believe is when they went from the non intercooled 7.3's to intercooled version and that is when they changed the body style

 

swtiched body styles in 99

i think they've been intercooled before that

 

no the obs ford psd have never been intercooled, that started in 99 with the new bodystyle.

There were actually two body style changes in the 90's. 87-91 was one body style (very flat front), 92-98 is what everyone calls the OBS (more rounded front), then 99-07 was the first Superduty body style.

 

in 05 the front clip totally changed

 

Not the whole front clip, just the bumper, headlights, and grill mainly are what changed. The fenders, hood and the rest of the truck remained pretty much the same body.

Now as far as the mechanicals go, the 05 through 07 went to coil front springs for the 4x4 and the frame was quite a bit heavier than the 99 through 04 trucks.
