Default Stopping Diesel Thieves

Ok so it hasnt happened to me yet, but I have come up with a solution to the theft of fuel from trucks and cars alike. I plan on putting cross bolts into my fill pipe far enough down that it wont affect the fill nozzle, so that they cant get a siphon hose down the pipe. I am gonna try it tonight on my truck and if all goes well and I can get them to seal I will put some in the fiance's blazer soon as well. I think "the right stuff" sealant is rated for diesel so we will find out for sure, cause I like to fill it all the way up to the neck when I have the $ to do so. It'll also keep the DOT from dipping you for red and I'm pretty sure they cant say anything about it. Simple, cheap, effective. Thats my goal here!!!

I know my 92 had a ball check valve about half way down the fill neck that stopped me from getting a hose down in there.

Oh yea, and if they want it bad enough with your big jacked up pickemup (j/k) then they would drill a hole in the bottom of your tank and get it that way.

Default DOT checkpoints...

My uncle was caught in a check point on a trip to the Farm Show in Harrisburg. They didn't dip the tank, they checked it at the fuel filter.

get rid of the ball in our 1st gen trucks and you can fill the tank in about 1/4 of the time it normally takes.....
