AFC tuning help
stock 98 12v 5 speed. Washers are flipped. Foot hasn’t been shaved, it has a #11 plate slid forward. The housing is slid forward. The “smoke screw” is turned all the way in, and the star wheel is cranked so far forward I’d be surprised if you could even get a flathead on it. I was wondering if there’s a general way to get this back to mostly factory set or am I gonna have to do some trial and error? For a moments fun since I had it apart I removed the plate and my clutch immediately slipped at about 1800-2k rpms regardless of what gear...Does it really throw that much power it’ll make a clutch slip or does mine just sound wore out??
no noticeable issues before that... I understand they can’t handle much more than stock HP but jeez.. I put it back the way I found it until I get ready to tackle it... also, it doesn’t really smoke that much. Certainly doesn’t RoLL CoaL. Shouldn’t it be smokin like a freight train???
