Hey I'm trying to buy a 98.5 12 valve 4x4 quad cab, Arizona truck, no rust, usual paint fade, steel rims, no a/c. I asked the guy for a video of blow by, doesn't seem to have any blow by, body looks straight except for driver side quarter panel right below filler cap, is a little dented. Motor looks dirty, guy says no death wobble and ball joints are ok for now. Interior looks clean.
he says won't go below $4000 is that truck worth it? How much can I offer without offending.
I know truck will need work, especially what everyone here says ( oil, coolant and hoses changed, fuel filter, belts, kdp, transmission and differential services, no to mention fixing the a/c.

Any ideas? He did mention something about shutting off at idle but once is at temperature stays running.
