Coolant leaking starts a few hours after shutting down- doesn’t seem to leak while in operation. Is this the water pump? It was slight last week and seems to have gotten more intense yesterday. I just purchased the truck with 197,000 miles on it 2 weeks ago so I’m not extraordinarily familiar with its history. From my research- it would seem that I’d be wise to replace t-stat and housing, hoses, etc while I’m doing the waterpump but it just seems a little off to me that it’s only leaking after the engine cools off after running.... Any thoughts?
