Every pickup truck owner wants to protect his or her vehicle’s hood from damage caused by flying debris at speed. A hood deflector does the job preventing small rock from chipping the paint and damaging polished chrome parts. It was named the Best New Exterior Accessory at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

The deflector features an LED strip with 5 amber LED marker lights reminiscent of the marker light pattern found on the cabins of heavy-duty trucks. The accessory is very easy to install – just rub your hood with alcohol, let it dry, and mount the deflector using provided 3M adhesive tape. The LightShield comes with a 9-feet wire allowing for running it under the hood, through the hinge and back to the headlight area. You can wire it to the parking lights or add a designated toggle switch in the cabin.
