I just bought a 2010 6.7 it has the egr and dpf delete it did not come with a tuner and the third day driving it I got the 2262 code, read up that it may just need to be cleaned but if it’s deleted then it shouldn’t need cleaned right? Could it be that I don’t have a tuner? Or am I looking at a new turbo?seems to build boost alright and exhaust brake seems to work, any ideas?

 

You are most definitely gonna need a tuner. The sad part is that who ever you bought it from has the tuner. The good thing is it sounds like he put it back to stock mode. I guess he knew what he was doin and hopefully didn’t leave a trace in the pcm/Ecm. If not than your good to go as long as you get what the delete kit calls for. And if he did leave a trace,,go get his tuner. That’s the only way.
