Default EGR PROBLEMS

Bought a 05 6.0 10 months ago the egr gets stuck about every two months with a black ball that Looks like coal . Don't know if it has a program But it has no muffler or cat. On it

Some input if you can truck had 1.3k when I bought it No other problems but the egr valve can I unplug it

EGR "coal" often times comes from a leaking EGR cooler.

Bismic is correct. That is a common cause.

Run through the egr diagnosis.
