Looking for pics or info on what people are using for a/c compressors with the f700 high mount brackets on a 12 valve. Motor is in a 1992 f250. Looked up and down for this information but can not get any exact answers anywhere

 

Have you looked into the Fummins conversion forums? You'll find companies on line that do cummins conversions, great resources. Good Luck.

 

I've looked but can't find the specific information that I'm looking for or picture of how others have done it. Most ove the conversation companies have there own may of mounting and sell the parts with ridiculous mark ups on them. I think I can get it done with the f700 compressor just want to be sure before I spend all the money on the parts to get it done

 

I didn't realize the mark-up.....good point. So do you have any fabrication skills? What Im getting at is that you may have to get creative and fabricate your own "kit" and have a "one-off". "Sometimes ya just have to take a bite out of that **** sandwich."

 

I already have all the correct mounts for it so I shouldn't need to fabricate anything but a couple hoses. I'm trying to find what the best compressor is for the conversion, theres a few hundred styles of the sanden compressor that fits it, just trying to get the best one to use

 

I hear ya. Sanden is a good compressor, but I cant help on what style(s) that will work for you, sorry.
