Powerstroke falls on its face
Hey guys have a 96 7.3l powerstroke that is having some issues. Just changed the fuel pump in the valley and the fuel filter for lack of power. Fuel filter was nasty, cleaned and flushed the fuel bowl multiple times with fresh diesel. I can get the truck up to 50-55 and cruise with no issues however when I get on it hard it shifts funky and falls on its face and have to pull over, no power pin it and it runs Around 900rpm
Let it idle for a few minutes and get back on the road good to go. If I get on it hard to 70 it will fall on its face the same and I pull over, if I get on it nice and mellow in can continue to run 55 smoothly. Any thoughts on what this issue is?
