Default Help identify this sensor

What sensor is this? Would like to remove it and use that location for the exit tube on my remote oil filter.

Oil pressure sender for a gauge or a shutdown system.
By remote filter do you mean a bypass filter?
That line is too small for a normal full flow filter.

Yes, bypass filter. I am planning to use the port on the oil filter housing for the input into this bypass filter but need a port for the filtered oil to drain into. Was hoping to drain the oil where this sensor is located but that's not going to work if it's a oil pressure sender.

Do you have the plug in the side of the oil pan? Could go back into there. Usually used for a heater or temp gauge.

I looked for one but did not find one. Bummer.

Any other ideas for the exit line from my bypass filter?
