Default Hey Jet A Fuel or anyone else that feels like chiming in

I hope all is well with you. Been super busy on my end and haven't had a chance to hang out as much. We are getting ready to move to ID and are planning two nights of stopping due to kids and pets. Anywho. What do you recommend to keep the Dodge warm at night? She is a grouchy morning person if not plugged in when its under 35*at night. We will be stopping in places where it is 20 or less at night, and I am a little concerned about trying to start her in those temps come morning time.

Are you stopping anywhere you could plug it in? Or where you could run a cord from a room to it?

do you have a generator?(anysize will work) you could get up in the morning fire the generator up and plug your truck in you only need a couple of hours to help that truck start
do you have a remote starter on your truck there should be a cold temp setting

I am not sure if I will have access to any plugs. That is why I am a little nervous about it. I am thinking that I will just have to pack a couple extension cords in the truck and hope for the best.

Use to work at an airport and in winter when we would have a really cold snap I would run about 5 gallons Jet A with prist to a full tank of diesel. Never had any bad affects, but never really noticed a difference on start up. Did it for about 3 winters and that was 4 years ago. Still nothing broke or failed that I can point back to running Jet A.

Thank you! I will keep that in mind for next winter as we are moving to North Idaho, so I will be experiencing a real winter for the first time. For now, it looks like we are lucking out and leaving under a warm spell this next week. Looks like I don't need to worry this time around.
