Hey guys got a 1998.5 24v 3500 w/manual trans, and am having some problems with my speedometer abs and brake light being on. Was driving down the road about 6 months ago and the lights came on and the spedo dropped all at once (pulsed off then on like 2-3 times before that over like 30 miles then dropped permanently). Was looking around and thought maybe it was the rear axle speed sensor but was reading the spedo usually worked up to 25-30. Am I on the right track or do I need to look elsewhere. Thanks.

 

Check your connections at the speed sensor. Have you checked for codes?

 

got it fixed. It was the sensor. just didn't realize at first that with the manuals the speedo would be completely dead, not just partially dead. Thanks!
