Hey everyone, I recently purchased a 1998 GMC Sierra k1500 and the original owner did a lot of sketchy stuff on it. He installed a K and N air filter on, but it's way too small in my opinion to ever give enough air. I want to go back with the original air intake system but I have a MAF sensor that doesn't look like it goes with the original intake. But if I remove it I get engine codes. I just wanna know if I can remove the MAF sensor w/o having engine problems? Or if one of you know where it's supposed to go cause I can't find it haha any info would help a lot thanks!

 

Sorry but the answer is no and yes loose that K&N your engine will last longer the stock breather box(K47) its called is the way to go.
