Hi guys I'm looking into buying a 03 5.9 2500 with asking price of 14,000. Truck has 250,000 Kms
Upgrades include
Afc delete
Head rebuilt
Marineland head gasket
Arp head studs
All new injectors
Dowel pin removed
Big gillette turbo
Dual fuel pumps fass fuel system
Rebuilt tranny with shift kit hd torque converter
Performance lift pump
New water pump
Oil water separator
4" intercooler
4" suspension lift
3" body lift
Rear air bags

Just trying to find out what else I should be looking for as far as potential problems I know about lps and those issues but any input would be greatly appreciated thank you

 

All of that for 14,000? Seems fishy to me, how long ago was all the work done? Does he have proof of the work? Receipts or anything like that! If all that's true I think that's not a bad deal at all! Just actually seems low to me like hes trying to get rid of it because he knows something could be about to go very wrong...

 

He says he has receipts and the head and tranny were rebuilt last 3 months. Says he's selling because wife is pregnant and it's too hard to get in with lift and also has 3 kids. Also has 37" tires on it

 

So I did some digging about the truck it's garbage and not worth 5 grand
To sum it up its a 1500 body and parts but with a 2500 Diesel engine tranny and assorted parts
