Default borg warner solenoid 48re

Undoubtedly this may have been discussed but I would like some opinions. There has much talk about replacing the oem solenoid along with the transducer at the same time when experiencing trans issues, ie; shuttle shift etc. I currently have no issues with my stock trans, I am doing a fluid/filter service this weekend and I have the BW solenoid and a new transducer. I could put these in but why if everything is working? I've read that guys have put these in and had problems afterwards and some that do not. I'm reluctant to mess with these unless I have something to gain. Stock motor and trans, 124k on the clock.
Thanks.

05 4x4, stock motor and trans.

Default 48re solenoids

Well 202 reads and no one has an opinion or advice one way or the other. Sure would appreciate a trans guy expertise.

Thanks

Bill

Don't fix it till it breaks! OR UPGRADE TO MAKE IT LAST LONGER! If it's stock get a VB and TQ then you can upgrade the solenoids!
