Default Exhaust leak

I have a 2006 dodge 5.9 and after a engine ring job I broke the clamp on the turbo elbow to exhaust connection. I got a new band clamp and it still leaks, dumb question but is there suppose to be a gasket in there, I may have lost it during the engine rebuild?

The leak is where the turbo connects to the elbow

mad

Well I got it fixed, feel kinda dumb for the reason. When you buy the $32 exhaust clamp dodge doesn't include the nut. The nut I used wasn't high rise enough so the threads were bottomed out! Put a spacer nut in between and all is good. With the old nut it got just tight enough to make me think it was torqued.

They ALL come with a nut and spring if yours was missing someone stole it! That really sucks!
