Default 50 state legal?

Just need some help, I'm currently looking at buying an 06 3500 from Nevada I live in CA. How can I tell if the truck is CA compliment or are all CR trucks 50 state legal?

I figured it out, the valve cover has an engine details label that says it conforms to CA SMOG requirements.

Just weigh and smog it before registering the truck. AAA basic membership lets you avoid the DMV. If it's a private sale, sales tax(they call it use tax) will be due along with registration fees.

Be sure the public scale you use weighs it for DMV use.
I use Mayflower Van & Storage here in San Diego.
A NV truck should be nice and rust free! Good luck.
