Default which clutch for g56

hi there, I can not decide on a clutch for my 06 2500, i have heard good things and bad things about south bends dual disc street clutch and i just cant decide and was wondering if anyone who has one could help with my decision about buying one, or to buy a single disc, my mods on my truck are 50hp injectors, airdog2 100gph, cold air intake, and a edge cts2 evolution programmer, the stock clutch just wouldn't hold, i drive this truck everyday and tow the camper every now and then, i want a clutch that is really driveable on the street but i want it to hold when towing the camper.
thanks for any advise!

I've had an SBC OKHD single in mine for 12K now.Smooth, silent and it won't slip on sw#7 floored in 5th. I carry my 2K# camper around always and have 285-75-17 tires. I share your 0.79 final drive G-56 which yields the same effective gear ratio as an auto with 4.10's. I don't tow. This clutch is rated @ 425 hp and 850 tq.
Plan on running thicker fluid when doing the smf conversion.
I'm running 7qts of Amsoil MTG 75-90 which is tops over my prior experience with ATF,Pennsoil synchromesh and Delvac 50/Amsoil synchromesh combo.
A call to Peter personally(leave a voicemail) will help you. Insist on speaking to him.

If you tow the only way to go is a dual disc.

i have the DD southbend and i like it. valair is another option you can go with, but i would go with a DD in case you decide to add more power down the road.

as far as what regcabguy says, i also run a quart over in my g56, but i use the delvac 50 because that is what merecedes says to run in them (mercedes makes the g56). i have read about another guy really liking the Amsoil MTG 75-90. just dont use the atf or whatever the manual calls for.
