Alright everybody I am sure there is a thread about this somewhere and if you can point me to it then awesome. I am currently working on getting ready to swap out my 454 in my 93 K2500 Suburban for a beautiful 2nd Gen 12 valve. I have already found a kit that will adapt my 4l80E to the engine and I have the basics of how the 12 valve operates, but what all do I need to make this a smooth transition (as far as controllers for throttle position sensors, cam sensors, rpm, cruise control, you know all the good stuff).

 

I'm in the process of doing this right now, I went through autoworld as far as swap parts and instructions. I've got a lot of info if your interested. Contacts for other parts and what not

 

Yea, I'm new to working on diesels so any info you have is helpful. Ive been reading up on the 12v so I know the basics but that's about it.
