I got a phone call to help pull a buddy out who was stuck. Went over, hooked a chain. Put it in 4 high and gave a good couple yanks. On the third or 4th i went to put it back in drive and hit the gas and it revved but wouldn't move. I then couldn't move the shifter up to park and it wouldn't go up at all but down. I couldn't turn the truck off. I played with the 4wd and shifter. I ended up forcing it up into nuetral to turn off and get the key out. Now it won't turn over and the shifter is stuck. Any help or words of wisdom are greatly appreciated

 

Broke motor mount?

 

Sounds like broken motor mount ... your gonna need to check your linkages .. I think chris142 hit the nail on the head
